This little Korean mom and pop market has everything you need for Korean cooking. I got their famous homemade kimchi sold in the back of the store. Their kimbap (as they label kimbob) was delicious. I also got some more essentials. I'll need to make some more space in my freezer so I can get more items next time!

Wonderful shop, great snacks and solid condensed selection of produce especially seasonal stuff at the front! They sell all the teas we love and ones we are trying out, plus they have a frozen thinly sliced beef we use for hot pot at home, love em

My absolute favorite little Korean grocery store. Authentic home style Kimbob and Japchae made fresh daily. Abundance amt of selection for fresh, frozen or dried Korean food at an affordable price. The ladies at the counter is super friendly and if you're not familiar with Korean food, they can suggest things for you. If you love Korean side dishes, they have a fridge dedicated to selling the sides you would normally find at restaurants. Highly recommend people check this place out if you haven't already.

Southgate Mart is a small family owned grocery store specializing in Korean goods. The store is packed with unique snacks and foods that would be essential to any Korean meal. I visited the shop specifically for their kimchi as they have some of the best around. The kimchi is pickled just right and has a good spicy flavor. If you're in the area and looking for Asian groceries or good kimchi, make sure to check out Southgate Mart!

Came for the kimbob. Was not disappointed. Nice people at the registers. Store is kind of crammed and small but I like that. Fair selection of Asian snacks and produce

Highly recommend going here specifically for the kimchi and side dish selection! They clearly make it fresh by hand and we don't buy store-bought Korean side dishes anywhere else. The kimchi is much better than at hmart. Overall, its a small store that covers your Korean grocery needs.

It's a pretty small store, but you can find pretty much everything you want! They also make kimbap daily, but run out by 5, so go early! They also have a huge variety of side dishes. I absolutely love their kimchi and get the large jar every time!

Came here for lunch today to grab some banchan. The store is small and the aisles are narrow, but it has all sorts of Korean things from snacks, ramen, produce, Kimchi, and there's a banchan section with things from marinated raw oysters, raw crab, mustard greens, boy choy, dry squid, bean sprouts, and more! And the cashier was nice and quick. I'm definitely coming back!

It's a great Korean market that is convenient and will have most of the goods that you are looking for. My only complaints are that there are Very small aisles & Slightly higher pricing than other Asian markets. To more than make it up for it - hands down the best kimchi you'll get in the Eastside. The cucumber kimchi here is insanely addicting. It's fresh, crunchy, balanced with heat and salt and slight tanginess. Also, you can get a variety of other kimchi here that I haven't seen at other markets. My fave kimchis are the ong choy and mustard green kimchi. I crave this stuff. It's perfect as is and compliments any rice dish. And if you've had it a little too long, the absolute perfect addition to any ramen bowl. Additionally, the Kimbap here is so good and so affordable. Honestly, this is the only place I'll get my kimchi from now. And it's nice that I can pick up any pantry staples that I may need while here.
